Summer isn’t complete without enjoying fresh berries and sweet cream at least once during the season. Frozen berries, while not quite the same experience, can suffice in the off season. I’ve found many other recipes to jazz up this simple dessert, but I prefer it in its most basic form.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tsp sliced almonds
  • 1/4 tsp SweetLeaf (stevia)

Instructions

  1. Mix berries in a bowl and divide into four small serving bowls. Set aside.

  2. In a separate bowl whip cream and stevia with an electric mixer on high until soft peaks form.

  3. Top berries with whipped cream and garnish with sliced almonds.
