A keto friendly version of a Whiskey Old Fashioned, also known as the original whiskey cocktail.
The Old Fashioned has been around longer than any other cocktail. It’s already a low carb drink, aside from the sugar cube. Adding stevia is a quick and easy way to enjoy an Old Fashioned while still maintaining a keto diet. I normally don’t drink this cocktail, but my husband does. According to him, he can’t tell the difference between the regular and the keto versions of this drink. He also offers up that the longer the orange peel sits in the drink, the better it gets.

Add sweetleaf, bitters, and water to a lowball glass. Stir or muddle until sweetener is dissolved. Add ice. Pour bourbon over ice and gently stir. Twist the orange peel over drink and drop it in glass.
