While many people choose not to drink alcohol with a keto diet due to its increased calories and lack of nutrition, every now and then a low carb margarita hits the spot. You get the tequila, sweetness, and citrus flavors of a traditional margarita without all the sugar and added carbs.

Instructions

  1. In a shaker add about 1/2 cup ice, tequila, sparkling water, lime juice, and sweetener. Shake to mix and chill ingredients.

  2. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the serving glass then dip in the salt. Add 1/2 cup ice (or amount to taste) and pour drink from shaker over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
