Turkey Broccoli Bacon Skillet

This recipe for Turkey Broccoli Bacon Skillet will help you make delicious use of your turkey leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 package bacon
  • 2 tbsp bacon grease
  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cup cooked turkey chopped
  • 2 cup broccoli chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into bite sized pieces and fry in a skillet until just crisp. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside. Drain grease, reserving 2 tbsp in skillet. 

  2. Add celery, onion, mushrooms, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is tender.

  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer until heated through and most of the liquid has been cooked down.
